Abstract
Komplike yas, normal yas sürecinin farklı özelliklere sahip bir uzantısıdır. Komplike yasın DSM ve ICD'de bir bozukluk olarak tanımlanması için, 2000’li yıllardan başlayarak çeşitli girişimlerde bulunulmuştur. Son yıllarda komplike yas kavramı DSM-V tanı kitabında süreğen kompleks yas bozukluğu olarak yer almaktadır. Kayıp deneyimlerinin ardından gelişen yas normal ve doğal bir tepki olarak kabul edilmektedir. Komplike yas ise, kişinin normal yas evrelerini aşamayıp birinde takılı kalmasıyla yas sürecini tamamlayamaması sonucu gelişen birtakım belirtilerin de eşlik ettiği bir kavram olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Bu makalede, komplike yas ve komplike olmayan yas arasındaki farklılıklara, yas sürecine etki eden çeşitli faktörlere ve bilinç ile bilinçdışını birlikte ele alan ve çift yönlü uyarımlarla bazı hipnomeditatif tekniklerden oluşan bütüncül bir terapi tekniği olan Hipnomeditatif Yeniden İşleme Terapisi’nin (HYT) komplike yasın tedavisinde uygulanabilirliğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır.
