Abstract
Ovary primary carcinoid tumors
are very rare. Primary carcinoid tumors are usually unilateral. These tumors
are usually associated with teratomas. We present a 70-year-old woman admitted
to a gynecology clinic with vaginal bleeding. A mass was detected in the right
adnex of the patient. Frozen examination and postoperative examination revealed
a carcinoid tumor that developed within the mature cystic teratoma. The case was presented in the light of the
literature because of its rare occurrence.

Abstract
Overde primer karsinoid tümörler oldukça nadir
görülürler. Primer karsinoid tümörler genelde tek taraflıdır ve genelde
teratoma eşlik ederler. Çalışmamızda 70 yaşında vajinal kanama şikayetiyle
kadın doğum polikliniğine başvurmuş ve sağ adnekste kitle saptanan hasta
sunulmuştur. Klinik, laboratuvar ve radyolojik yöntemlerle değerlendirilen
hastaya frozen inceleme ve postoperatif inceleme sonucu matür kistik teratom
içerisinde gelişen karsinoid tümör tanısı verişmiştir. Olgu nadir görülmesi
nedeniyle literatür eşliğinde sunulmuştur.
