COVID-19 sperm motilite kaybına sebep olabilir mi?

Abstract

COVİD-19 hastalığı Aralık 2019’da ilk olarak Çin’de Wuhan şehrinde ortaya çıkmıştır. Ülkemizde de 2020 itibariyle vakalar görülmeye başalmıştır. SARS-COV2 enfeksiyonunun erkek üreme sağlığına etkileri üzerine sperm parametreleri ve testis dokusu ile ilgili çalışmalar mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada önceden hareketli olup, Covid-19 hastalığı sonrasında sperm motilitesinde düşme olan bir hastayı sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract

Could COVID-19 cause loss of sperm motility? COVID-19 hastalığı Aralık 2019’da ilk olarak Çin’de Wuhan şehrinde ortaya çıkmıştır1. Ülkemizde de 2020 itibariyle vakalar görülmeye başalmıştır. SARS-COV2 enfeksiyonunun erkek üreme sağlığına etkileri üzerine sperm parametreleri ve testis dokusu ile ilgili çalışmalar mevcuttur2,3. Bu çalışmada önceden hareketli olup, Covid-19 hastalığı sonrasında sperm motilitesinde düşme olan bir hastayı sunmayı amaçladık.
