Abstract

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common malignancy of the adult urinary tract and accounts for approximately2% of all adult malignancies. The diagnosis of RCCs with papillary architecture can be diagnostically challenging forpathologists. Differential diagnoses are papillary RCC, clear cell RCC, clear cell papillary RCC, Xp11 translocationRCC. This case, RCCs with both papillary architecture and cells with clear cytoplasm is presented.

Tek Böbrekten Kaynaklanan Papiller ve Berrak Hücreli Karsinom: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Böbrek hücreli karsinom (BHK) erişkin üriner sistemin en sık görülen malign tümörüdür ve tüm erişkin malign tümörlerinin yaklaşık %2'sini oluşturur. Papiller yapıya sahip BHK tanısı patologlar için zor olabilir. Ayırıcı tanıda papiller BHK, berrak hücreli BHK, berrak hücreli papiller BHK ve Xp11 translokasyon BHK vardır. Bu olguda, papiller yapıya sahip BHK ve berrak sitoplazmalı hücreler içeren BHK sunulmuştur.
