Abstract

Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of gastrointestinal system. Duodenal involvement varies between 0,5%-5% in crohn’s disease. Steroids, azathioprine and anti-TNF drugs are effectively use in medical treatment of this condition. Surgery is a treatment option if there is stricture, fistula or failure of medical treatment.

Abstract

Crohn hastalığı gastrointestinal sistemin kronik inflamatuvar bir hastalığıdır. Crohn hastalığında duodenal tutulum sıklığı %0,5-5’lerdedir. Steroid, azatiyopürin ve anti-tümör nekrozis faktör grubu ilaçlar hastalarda etkin olarak kullanılabilir. İlaç tedavisine yanıtsızlık halinde, fistül ve striktür varlığında ise tedavi cerrahidir.
