Konya Yöresinde Yetiştirilen Sarı Kantaron (H. Perforatum) Bitkisinin Fitokimyasal Analizi

Abstract

GİRİŞ
HypericumPerforatum (sarı kantaron, StJohn’swort olarak da bilinen) bitki yaklaşık 200 yıldır tıbbi bitki olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bitki aynı zamanda geleneksel olarak medikal amaçla yara iyileşmesinde, inflamasyon giderici, yanıkta, kas ağrıları ve hematom tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır. John'swort (SJW) hafif ve orta şiddette depresyon tedavisinde kullanılan yaygın bir şifalı bitkidir. SJW'nin ana bileşenlerinden biri olan hiperforin, sitokrom P450 enzimlerinin (CYP) ve P-glikoprotein taşıyıcıların (P-gp) indüksiyonunnda önemli bir rol oynar ve bu nedenle çeşitli ilaçların farmakokinetiğini etkiler. Bu çalışmamızda yöremizde yetiştirilen sarı kantaron bitkisinin fitokimyasal analizini yapmak ve antidepresan etkiden sorumlu bileşen miktarının yeterince olup olmadığını tespit etmektir.
METOD
Konya-Akyokuş yöresinde (Temmuz Organik Çiftliği)yetişen numunenin Hiperisin, Hiperforin, Pseudohiperisin, uçucu yağ miktarları ile kırılma indisi, yoğunluk tayini yapılmıştır. Analizler Batı Akdeniz Tarım Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü Tıbbi ve Aromatik Bitkiler Enstitüsünde yapılmıştır. Numune analizi için gerekli izinler alınmıştır.
BULGULAR
Numunemizde hiperforin miktarı 8,53mg/l olarak bulunmuştur.
SONUÇ
Hiperforin, SJW'nin CYP ve P-gp indükleyici aktivitesinden sorumlu ana bileşen gibi görünmektedir; Bu nedenle, hiperforin içermeyen ürünler ilaç etkileşimini azaltmak için gelecekte önem kazanmaktadır
