Abstract
Renal hücreli
karsinom (RHK) teşhisi konulan hastaların üçte biri tanı anında
metastatik evrededir. Erişkin yaş grubunda en sık karşılaşılan
böbrek kanseri olan RHK oldukça yüksek mortalite oranlarına
sahiptir. RHK’nun kemik metastazları çoğunlukla geç dönemde
bulgu vermekle birlikte osteolitik ve agresif seyirlidir. Bu
çalışmada humerus metastazı ile tanı alan 73 yaşındaki RHK
olgusu; kliniği, görüntüleme teknikleri ve uygulanan tedavi
modaliteleri ile birlikte literatür bilgileri ışığında ele
alınmıştır.

Abstract
One-third of
patients diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) are metastatic at
the time of diagnosis. RCC, the most common kidney cancer in
adulthood, has a very high mortality rate. Bone metastases of the RCC
usually present in the late period. RCC is osteolytic and aggressive.
In this study, a 73-year-old RCC case diagnosed with humerus
metastasis; clinic, imaging techniques and treatment methods are
discussed in the light of literature.
