Abstract

Wolff-Parkinson-White sendromu (WPW) nadir görülen ventriküler preeksitasyon tipidir. Bu sendrom delta dalgaları, uzamış QRS süresi, kısa PR aralığı ile karakterizedir. WPW sendromlu hastaların anestezi yönetimi hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak gerekir. Biz bu olgu sunumunda WPW sendromlu hastanın anestezi yönetimini sunmayı amaçladık. Anestezi altında kullanılan anestezik ilaçların sebep olduğu iletim fizyolojisindeki değişiklikler komplikasyonları tetiklenebilir. Bu nedenle WPW sendromu ve onun anestezi yönetimi hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak önemlidir. Wolff-Parkinson-White sendromu (WPW), toplumda % 0.1 ila % 3 oranında görülen, aksesuar ileti yolunu tutan bir ventriküler pre-eksitasyon tipidir. Sendrom, ilk olarak Wolff, Parkinson ve White tarafından normal kalp yapısına sahip genç sağlıklı bireylerde paroksismal taşikardi epizodları ve kısa PR aralığı ile dal bloğunun eşlik ettiği bir sendrom olarak tanımlanmıştır (1)
