Abstract

Except during an epidemic of meningococcal infection, S.
pneumoniae
is the most common cause of bacterial meningitis in adults.
Meningitis may result from direct extension from the sinuses or middle ear or from
bacteremia. We report here
pneumococcal meningitis in a 57
years old male patient with otitis media in immunocompromised patient.

Burada, immünkompremize bir hastada, otitis media zemininden gelişen 67 yaşında
erkek hastada pnömokok menenjiti sunulmuştur.
