ÜLKEMİZDE TEHDİT OLUŞTURAN İSTİLACI SUCUL BİR BİTKİ: LUDWIGIA PEPLOIDES (KUNTH) P.H. RAVEN (SU ÇUHA ÇİÇEĞİ)
Abstract
Ludwigia peploides; hem suda hem karada yaşayabilen, çok yıllık, istilacı sucul bir bitki türüdür.Hızla yayılabilen bu bitki istila ettiği alanda özellikle ekolojik ve sosyal sorunlara neden olmakta, dolaylı olarak da tarım ve hayvancılığa zarar vermektedir. Bu tür EPPO (Avrupa Bitki Koruma organizasyonu)’nun karantina için tavsiye edilen A2 listesinde yer almaktadır. L. peploides dünya genelinde yaygın olup ülkemizde Akdeniz bölgesinde 1998 yılında kaydedilmiştir. Mücadelesi oldukça zor olan bu zararlı tür bölgeyi istila etmeden önce,bölgesel eradikasyon çalışmaları yapılmalı ve başka bölgelere bulaşmasını önlemek için ülkesel karantina tedbirleri alınmalıdır. Bu tür ilgili olarak genel özellikler, oluşturduğu zararlar ve mücadele yöntemleri sunulmuştur

AN INVASIVE AQUATIC PLANT THREATENED TO TURKEY: LUDWIGIA PEPLOIDES (KUNTH) P.H. RAVEN (CREEPING WATER PRIMROSE)
Abstract
Ludwigia peploides is an amphibious, perennial, invasive aquatic plant species. This plant can spread easily, cause ecological and social problems in infested areas, also give indirect damage to agriculture and livestock. This species is included in the EPPO (European Plant Protection Organization) A2 List of pests recommended for regulation, present but of limited distribution. L. peploidesis widespread across the world, and it was recorded in the Mediterranean region of Turkey in 1998. Due to the difficulties of its control, this dangerous species should be eradicated in the region before its invasion and national quarantine measures should be taken to prevent dispersal of water primrose. Regarding of this plant; general characteristics, harmful effects and control methods were presented
