THE RELATIONSHIP OF SOME SELECTED KINANTROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF A SPECIAL APTITUDE TEST COURSE

Öz

This study aims to investigate the relationship between selected kinantropometric measurements, height, weight, somatotype (body type), and leg and volume mass of the students who pass the special talent exam with the parkour performance (grade). This research was carried out on a total of 91 people, 34 women and 57 men, among 139 people, 54 women and 85 men, who were successful in the special talent exam of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Sports Sciences in the 2021-2022 academic year, who agreed to participate in the study based on voluntary participation. The leg volume and mass and Somatotype structures of the participants were calculated with the "Leg Volume and Mass Calculation" and "SOMATOTÜRK" programs developed by Carpenter and Özbalcı. SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. As a result, when evaluated in terms of somatotype structures; It is seen that male students of the Department of Coaching Education, who have the highest scores in both men and women, have the Ecto-Mesomorphy component, while the female students predominantly have the Meso-Ectomorphy and Balanced Ectomorphy components.

SEÇİLMİŞ BAZI KİNANTROPOMETRİK ÖLÇÜMLERİN ÖZEL YETENEK SINAVI PARKUR PERFORMANSI İLE İLİŞKİSİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, seçilmiş bazı kinantropometrik ölçümlerin, boy, kilo, somatotip (vücut tipi) ve bacak ve hacim kütlesinin özel yetenek sınavını kazanan öğrencilerin parkur performansı (derecesi) ile olan ilişkisini araştırmaktır. Bu araştırma, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi özel yetenek sınavında başarılı olan 54 bayan ve 85 erkek toplam 139 kişi içinden gönüllü katılım esasına göre çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 34 bayan 57 erkek olmak üzere toplam 91 kişi üzerinde yapılmıştır. Katılımcıların bacak hacim ve kütlesi ile Somatotip yapıları Marangoz ve Özbalcı tarafından geliştirilen “Bacak Hacim ve Kütlesi Hesaplama” ve “SOMATOTÜRK” programları ile hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, somatotip yapıları bakımından değerlendirildiğinde; hem erkeklerde hem de bayanlarda en yüksek puanları alan Antrenörlük Eğitimi Bölümü erkek öğrencilerinin Ekto-Mezomorfi komponentine sahip iken, bayan öğrencilerinin ağırlıklı olarak Mezo-Ektomorfi ve Dengeli Ektomorfi komponentine sahip oldukları görülmektedir.
