Öz

Günümüzde çok sayıda gebe yüksek riskli gebelik nedeni ile aktivite sınırlamasını da içeren

bir tıbbi bakım almaktadır. Yüksek riskli gebelik anne ve bebek sağlığını tehdit eden fizyolojik,

psikolojik, sosyal ve ekonomik boyutları olan önemli bir sağlık sorunudur. Bu gebelerin

hastanede bakımı, evde bakımına göre, daha çok sayıda olumsuz etkileri de beraberinde

getirmektedir. Son yıllarda özellikle gelişmiş ülkelerde, evde kullanılabilen yeni teknolojilerin

artması, sağlık bakım maliyetlerini azaltma gereksinimi, hastaların bilinçlenmesi ve kendi

bakımlarına katılma isteği, yüksek riskli gebelerin bakımının hastaneden eve geçişini

hızlandırmıştır. Yüksek riskli gebeler anne ve fetüsün sağlık durumu, bakım verecek sağlık

personeli ve ailenin psikolojik, sosyal ve ekonomik kaynakları dikkate alınarak evlerine

gönderilmektedirler. Yüksek riskli gebelerin evde bakımı konusunda özelleşmiş ebeler

tarafından verilecek bakım ile gebelik, bebek ve aile ile ilgili sonuçlar geliştirilebilir.
