High-riding superior pericardial recess: A diagnostic pitfall

Year 2021, Volume: 43 Issue: 3, 303 - 304, 30.09.2021

Abstract

Superior pericardial recess is typically incidentally
found on chest CT imaging. It may simulate a hypodense lymphadenopathy or a
cystic mass. The superior pericardial recess is an anatomical entity that both
radiologists and respiratory physicians should know.
