Abstract

Özet

Orbital kaviteye yönelik travma orbital morbidite için büyük risk taşır. Orbital travmanın radyolojik değerlendirilmesi kesitsel görüntüleme yöntemlerinin teknolojik gelişimi ve yaygınlaşması ile ilerlemiştir. Ultranongrafi, bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) ve manyetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) orbital travmanın araştırılması ve yabancı cisim taraması amacıyla kullanılabilir ancak kullanılmakta olan en etkin yöntem orbita BT incelemedir. Bu derlemede, erişkin populasyondaki orbital travmaların patogenezi, bulgu ve semptomları ve tanısal yöntemleri tartışılmıştır.

Abstract

Trauma to the orbital cavity carries a graet risk to orbital morbidity. The radiological evaluation of orbital trauma has progressed with the technological development and wide distribution of crosssectional imaging methods. Ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), can be used in the investigation of orbital trauma and the search for foreign bodies, however the most effective method has been used is orbita CT imaging. This article discusses the pathogenesis, signs and symptoms, and diagnostic methods after orbital trauma in the adult population.
