Conclusions. The prevalence of cigarette use was similar to the results of other studies in Turkey and other countries, but the prevalence of alcohol use was found to be lower. In addition the percentage of high school students who had suicidal ideation about was higher than the results of other studies. Compared with male students and female students, male students had more popular alcohol, and more smoking behaviors. Therefore, more intensive smoking prevention programs should be implemented among male.
